Reading Rooms
In this project I wanted to look at the concept of a tree and how that could relate to a reading and storing books. The brief was to create a temporary reading room which could be exhibited Resort studios in Margate. The year was separated into groups to come up with design proposals and then we all came together to create an overall one 22 people and make individual but also come all together. As an individual I had to come up with a design for my own module and develop this along side. My design gives a unique approach to a ‘tree of knowledge” and entices people to come and read from it. The reading room was named INTERforum and was a big success and fulfilled the purpose of a contemporary reading room.
